Machine-aware configuration
Kinematics, limits, tooling, and machine capabilities are explicit inputs rather than hidden assumptions.
MPSElectroLabMPS CNC Controller MPS ElectroLab
An open CNC control framework spanning machine configuration, planning, simulation, embedded firmware, and operator-visible execution.
01 / Controller stack
Kinematics, limits, tooling, and machine capabilities are explicit inputs rather than hidden assumptions.
Planning, simulation, commanded state, and controller feedback are designed to remain inspectable.
A hardware abstraction layer and defined service contracts provide a practical path from host simulation to embedded targets.
02 / Current status
The repository is the source of truth for current code, supported targets, setup instructions, open work, and release status. Review its documentation and issues before selecting it for a machine.
CNC software cannot make an unsafe machine safe. Integrators remain responsible for independent emergency stops, limits, electrical protection, guarded commissioning, machine-specific validation, and qualified operator supervision.
03 / Build with us
Start with the public repository, follow the project documentation, and use the existing discussion for contribution questions. For integration or engineering support, contact MPS with the machine, controller target, and validation goal.
